I am an opera/classical specialist but I teach all musical genres. I believe that a good solid technique can be transferred to any style. It will enable you to greatly improve your vocal ability and range, and also to sing safely without damaging your voice. You only have one.

I teach from a music teaching space located at Windsor Pl, Cardiff, CF10, UK, where I have a fully equipped music room. My full teaching address will be provided upon your first lesson booking.

Absolutely. I work very hard on performance techniques as well as vocal technique. Everything I teach you, posture, breathing, diction and everything else that goes into a great performance will have a huge knock-on effect in your daily life.

I am flexible and happy to fit lessons around people’s busy lives. I generally teach every day of the week, mainly evenings during the weekdays but not restricted to this.

Yes. I have prepared many students for the ABRSM singing grades, selecting repertoire suited to each individual and preparing for the sight-reading and aural tests.

Most pupils have an hour's lesson. However, for younger children, I suggest that a half an hour lesson is more suitable. Equally, if you'd prefer to begin with a half an hour lesson to see how it goes, we can always increase the lesson to an hour once you feel more comfortable and/ or if you feel an hour would be more beneficial.

Please note that Singing Lessons Cardiff runs a 48 hours cancellation policy for lessons booked with us. If lessons are cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson time they will be charged the full price - no exceptions.
